The goal of the project is to develop educational materials on regional entrepreneurship, primarily aimed at women from rural areas, to support the development of entrepreneurial skills and increase their professional activity in local communities. The project aims to support women in starting their own businesses, contributing to the economic growth of rural areas and the creation of new jobs.
Specific Objectives:
- Develop educational materials on regional entrepreneurship.
- Enhance the competencies and knowledge in regional entrepreneurship of at least 6 adult employees (2 from each of the partner organizations) through the research phase and exchange of best practices.
- Increase the human and institutional capacity of 3 partner institutions, enabling them to better support women from rural areas.
- Provide educational support on regional entrepreneurship to 10 women from rural areas in the testing phase (10 women in each partner country).
- Expand the educational offer with training in regional entrepreneurship to provide new educational and personal development opportunities for women in two partner countries.
- Train 10 women from rural areas in each partner country by participating in a five-day training in the partner country (Sweden), including discovering Sweden’s cultural heritage and traditions with local experts.
About the Project:
The project aims to address issues such as limited access to educational resources, financial support, and professional networking opportunities for women from rural areas. Through this project, women from rural areas will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in regional entrepreneurship, enabling them to start their own businesses.
As part of the project, comprehensive educational materials on entrepreneurship will be developed, targeting women from rural areas. These materials can be used by Women’s Rural Clubs (KGW) in Poland, of which there are approximately 12,880 in the country, with the potential to sell locally made products.
Although these organizations have significant potential to engage in business activities, including producing traditional products or rural and cultural tourism, they often face challenges due to the lack of appropriate training, educational materials, and support. The aim of the project is to provide these organizations with the necessary knowledge, which will help them develop their activities and contribute to the economic revitalization of rural areas.
Long-Term Impact:
The project will not only provide women from rural areas with access to education in regional entrepreneurship but will also develop their entrepreneurial skills, strengthening cooperation at both local and international levels. The ultimate goal is to stimulate local economies by supporting newly established business initiatives, which will lead to the creation of new jobs and overall community development.
